Tiger Woods didn’t go winless in 2024 — at least not off the course.

According to a report from Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal, the 49-year-old Woods unsurprisingly finished first in the final year of the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program, which was designed to reward the players who generate the most interest in the PGA Tour.

Woods played in just five events during the 2024 season, with his lone made cut coming at the 2024 Masters, where he finished in 60th place at 16 over par. In December, the 15-time major champion almost won the PNC Championship alongside his son Charlie. Woods also launched his Sun Day Red clothing brand in 2024.

Woods took home a $10 million prize for finishing atop the PIP.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who won seven Tour events, an Olympic gold medal and the Hero World Challenge in 2024, finished in second place to win $8 million. Scheffler opened his season by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship and Masters. He appeared primed to win his second major of the season at the 2024 PGA Championship before being arrested prior to his Friday round. Scheffler was able to play his second round and fired a 5-under-par 66 to remain in the hunt, but a sloppy Saturday derailed his chances at the Wanamaker Trophy.

Scheffler punctuated his phenomenal season with a win at the Tour Championship in August. In December, Scheffler won the PGA Tour’s Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. He joined Woods as the only golfers to win the Jack Nicklaus Award in three straight seasons.

Rory McIlroy, who won the $15 million top PIP prize in 2023, finished in third place and won $4.5 million.

Here are the top 10 in the final PIP rankings:

1. Tiger Woods, $10 million
2. Scottie Scheffler, $8 million
3. Rory McIlroy, $4.5 million
4. Xander Schauffele, $4.5 million
5. Jordan Spieth, $4.5 million
6. Collin Morikawa, $4.5 million
7. Shane Lowry, $3.5 million
8. Justin Thomas, $3.5 million
9. Tommy Fleetwood, $3.5 million
10. Wyndham Clark, $3.5 million

The PGA Tour cut the PIP pool in half in 2024, splitting $50 million among the top 10 players. The PIP previously divided $100 million among the top 20.

While 2024 marked the end of the PIP, the Tour just launched the Player Equity Program, which will divide $100 million to the top 20 players based on various criteria, including some that were used for the PIP.
