Watch Bryson DeChambeau trick shot go horribly wrong (with Donald Trump’s granddaughter)

After a season that saw him reach major heights once again, Bryson DeChambeau is not resting in the offseason. Instead, he’s leaning hard into his burgeoning social-media career.

The two-time and reigning U.S. Open champion’s channels have been all over the place, most recently with his hole-in-one over his house series, which he posted on TikToK.

The main driver of growth for his YouTube account, which as of this writing has reached 1.6 million subscribers, has been his “Breaking 50” series, in which he tries to break 50 from the front tees alongside a famous guest.

No video has outstripped the audience of his Breaking 50 video with President-elect Donald Trump, which in four months since its posting has racked up 13 million views.

But based on a new video clip making the rounds on social media, DeChambeau might have another Trump family member lined up for his social channels: Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump.

Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., and is readying for a college golf career of her own at the University of Miami.

The new clip shows Kai and Bryson attempting a trick shot together on a driving range. The plan was for Kai to chip a ball toward DeChambeau, who was standing a few yards in front her, and then Bryson would hit the chipped ball out of mid-air with his driver.

At least that’s what was supposed to happen. Instead, as DeChambeau swings at the ball, he seems to make contact with the ground first, and as he begins his follow-through, his driver head goes sailing off into the range.

Kai has a large social-media presence of her own. On Instagram, she’s accumulated 754,000 followers. Her own YouTube page sports 556,000 subscribers, with a recent video titled “Watching a Rocket Launch at SpaceX with Elon Musk!” earning 6.2 million views.
